The Thank You For Donation Cards are a great way of showing your donors that you really, truly appreciate them and thank them for their generosity.
The cards are also a great way to present your donors with an automatic donation receipt at the same time so they will have it for income tax purposes at the end of the year. Donors who often generously give to organizations to help with their fundraisers or to help raise monies for a certain worthy cause can also get a tax break for their business by doing so.
I am sure a lot of you may have made many donations to churches and also to worthy causes. Maybe some of you might have received a thank you letter or card from the organization you donated to and then again maybe some of you did not. It is a very important part of the fundraising process to thank your donors in a special way, no matter what the amount of their donation was at the time. So, be sure and take the time to personally thank your donors who have made it possible for you to accomplish your fundraising goals.
Many donors might become offended to the point of denying future donations requests should they not receive any kind of a Thank You from the organizations they donated their monies to. Forgetting this very simple step in your fundraising efforts could contribute over time to a shrinkage of repeat donor funding, so definitely take the time to make sure they get a special Thank You for donating to your special cause.
