Father's Day Homemade Paperweight

I think every Dad needs a paperweight on his desk don't you think? Make this precious keepsake for your Dad this Father's Day and I guarantee that they will cherish it!

The first step is to find a suitable rock. You need to try and find some smooth, flat decorative rocks. Be sure to put old clothes on the kids because acrylic paint does not wash out. You will have to put 2 or 3 coats of paint on the rocks but it only takes a few minutes for paint to dry.

You Need:

• Rock
• Acrylic Paints
• Fine Black Marker
• Paint Brush
• Optional: Glitter glue, wiggly eyes

• Paint the rock as you like. Be creative. Put 2 or 3 coats of paint on your rock.
• Once the paint is dry you can decorate with glitter glue, wiggly eyes or whatever you can dream up.
• Print the words (I Love Dad, Dad Rocks, Worlds Best Dad, etc.) on the rock with a fine black marker.
